ABOUT: Cathy has been in Healthcare & Science technology for over 20 years. She is the co-founder of the Autism Angels Group, an investment group (focusing on neurodiverse solutions and founders’ investment and advocacy) and a member of the Berkeley Angels Network. Cathy is an active Venture Advisor at University of California, Berkeley: SkyDeck and Haas’s LAUNCH accelerators. Additionally, she is a mentor at the National Science Foundation’s Innovation Corps (NSF i-Corps) and a Startup Healthcare Advisor and advisory board member of several for-profits and non-profits. She has had 2 startups of her own, one in the legal space and another in robotics. Cathy has been an angel investor for over 12 years mostly focusing on systems that will help people and the environment.

We share deals with each other and make relevant introductions.- Met Ari Qayumi and invested as an LP in her new fund, Mindful Venture Capital Fund.- Met Charlotte Michailidis from Parenthood Ventures who introduced me to Diego Adame, Director of the LEGO Foundation, which led to an engagement with LEGO and our Autism Angels Group, with the new Play for All (Autism & ADHD) Accelerator. – Have met startups and investors in the autism space including BeMe.
